How Will You Celebrate It?

Although it's Tanya Espanya's birthday today and she's planning on shopping off to Buffalo, I will be at home celebrating in my own way - with a good old fashioned cocktail of meds!

On Friday at work, I smirked too hard at someone and somehow managed to throw my back out of whack.  Thank goodness for that free Canadian health care!  I was able to leave work early, pick up some choice meds and head home.  I had been scheduled to take in the opera Don Giovanni in the evening but crapped out which I heard is just what the production did anyway.

Yesterday was spent in a wonderful haze of medication fueled naps but today I'm feeling better.

Please join me in wishing Tanya a wonderful birthday.  If I end up with any unused medication, I plan to share it with her.  What can I say, I'm a giver!

I hope you feel better soon! Maybe Tanya will buy you something cute from the Buffalo Target...

You shouldn't tease Tanya like that. You know you have no intention of sharing your meds.

Save me some meds! While prescription painkillers and muscle relaxants go well with ANY alcohol, I think champagne or martinis add the most festive touch.

Happy Birthday Tanya!

I am so sorry about your back. Loving the pain cocktail, though. I'm glad you're feeling a bit better.

Thanks for the tip off re: Teeny's b-day. I just headed over and wished her a very happy one.

FEEL BETTER.

I'm going to celebrate it by asking Rowbear for Tylenol...wait, that's not quite right.

At any rate, Happy Birthday Tanya!

Get well soon.

My husband to Lyrica yesterday for his forehead shingles...said he felt stoned all day. What happened to good ole' Vicodin?

Maybe I should sell them over the internet SDad? That seems to popular.

I'm on the mend Flannery. She'd better buy me something.

Bluez, how well you know me, I'm terrible at sharing.

A martini would be nice Bubs but I'm having trouble getting the toothpick through the pills.

If I could Katie, I'd always walk around with a big fat IV full of painkillers.

If there's anything left over, I'll try and share Gifted Typist but as I said above to Bluez, I'm terrible at it.

He's nice enough to share Cormac, I'd ask!

Thanks Melody, I hope your husband's all better soon too! And Vicodin for all!

The lengths some people will go to in order to not join a friend in her birthday celebration.

I celebrated by watching thousands of people run by my window, and then I took about 5 naps.

Dale,
I hope your back's better soon. WE all know that you threw it out while spying on Honey Pot, but do understand that you're not really willing to admit that on the world wide web.

I guess I'll go over to Tanya's to wish her a happy birthday.

No heavy smirking for the next couple of weeks! You need to save those back pills for New Years Eve!

Feel better!

Never be shocked at the lengths I'll go to Fran, I really do plan on being a shut-in!

Well said Chris!

Those dirty bastards Beckeye, everyone knows you need your sleep to be so consistently hilarious.

Tanya! You're back! Look what I got you! Hope you had fun.

You're close Chancelucky, I threw my back out trying to stealthily steal the cardboard signs announcing the car for sale parked on their lawn. I want that lawn ornament to stay forever!

Pill hoarding is now in full effect Barbara, I'm mostly better!

It was a couple of days of misery Sans but nobody probably noticed much difference in me.
