Freakz n the Hood

I haven't done an audio blog post in a while and on checking, while GCast still hosts already recorded posts, they no longer allow new recordings. Gee GCast, I'm sorry I wasn't there for you at the end.

After researching for several minutes, I decided to give PodOmatic a try and while the process seemed easy, figuring out how to post to Facebook or my blog's sidebar is still a bit of a mystery.

This link should help you follow the sound of my voice:  Freakz n the Hood

Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Podomatic for the people baby!

Love the whistle! And I'm relieved to hear that Canada has red necks too.

Cantonese soap opera? Wow, you Canadians must have some awesome cable TV!

Keep up with the podcasts as the world needs to continue to hear your voice.

They're everywhere Flannery but at least they make for Interesting life slices. You know how to whistle don't you? You just put your blogs together and...

We're pretty multicultural Doc and the cable tv reflects it pretty well. Thanks for the kind comment, from a masterful storyteller like you, it means a lot.

You really have a nice tone to your voice, you could do voice-over work.

"Far beyond it's sell by date" made me snort!

The corner store we visit when we are in Vancouver has an elderly lady who watches Cantonese sitcoms, which everybody knows are far superior to Cantonese soap operas.

Still, it's lovely to hear your dulcet tones again.

Hmmm...for some reason I thought you sounded a bit different, but then it's been a while since I've heard a Dale audio post.

Flan, I agree, they have rednecks too and now we have leverage.

Poor Dale, he's so polite, I say "Thank you" to people without knowing why all the time. I've even said thank you to a cop after getting a ticket without thinking... :)

It's to make up for the lack of tone in my body Skyler's Dad!

Should I tell her about the sitcoms Barbara? I may be stepping over boundaries.

It may have been different Genn6 because the old audio post were done over the phone, this one used the built in mic on my Mac.

Thanks for the encouragement kind people!

Hmm. Seems a lot has gone on for you, in my absence.

Are you sure this new neighborhood is preferable to the old one? I mean, you only had a few kittens and Honeypot to worry about. I'm not sure I could trust the violent couple or camo dude, although the shaggy blonde seems interesting.

I've always liked shaggy blonde stories, anyway

FYI, the whistling at the end scared Grover. (As in my cat, not the lovable blue Muppet - is he even around anymore?)

Poor Grover! Both of them! Sorry about that CP.
