Too bright? You're talking about me aren't you Marloes?
It's new this year Genn6, we're all excited.
Oh, we have lots of those too Distributor Cap, this house is excluded from the tour though.
Please continue to live Allison and I will do my part. They're not tracks, they're shadows of tree branches. I just updated my label to clear up the confusion.
There's barely enough to cover the grass Franki, it'll probably be gone in a day or two and then it'll just be a matter of time before we're whomped with more.
Awwww...reminds me of home. I'll never see anything like that in Sacramento..unless someone buys some and brings it in.
Very nice.
My husband used to live in Michigan..and there was a neighbor who'd fire a bullet into the air if any of the neighbor kids walked across his backyard and "messed up" his snow. :)
I was expecting to see something of Honeypot's yard, actually.
Interesting choice. Most people I've met would have lit up a tree in their front yard, where passing motorists can admire it and leave gifts underneath. Seems to me, you're inviting trespassers.

Cool pic.
Very sweet. Where's honeypot though? Isn't she usually lurking around somewhere?
A bit too bright for my taste..
so they celebrate Christmas up there? Neat-o.
dont you have the houses that waste 4 billion watts of electricity too?
nice pic
Very cool tracks in the snow. Just rain here. I shall live through that picture.
Dude, looks like y'all been riding yer ATVs out back there. F-in' A, bro. I didn't know Canada was so inclusive of my pro-ATV lifestyle.
Thanks Dr. Monkey.
I cropped her out Suze, selfish I know.

We accept all kinds here Pistols, even yours.
You've got snow already?
Brrrrr....

I prefer to think those tree branch shadows are the tracks of Honeypot being chased merrily by Wagon Boy. That is my dream.
Are you insinuating Honeypot's presence near the tree Barbara?
Know what Dale? That is simply a stunning pic!
I like it...may all you Christmas' be bright
Weren't you suppose to come put some light outside at my place??

What a beautiful picture. Thanks for helping to put me in a holiday mood.

Very cool pic.
A beautiful shot but I too was wondering why Honeypot wasn't in it, wandering the yard in her leopard-skin velour shorts and tube top?
I like it. Simple. Like a little Christmas zen garden.
I bet baby Jesus sheds a tear for that one.
Looks freakin' cold. But cute. Yes, I said cute.
love the giant shadow of the big tree dwarfing the Christmas tree
A very surrealistic photo. I like it very much. Great shooting, mate.
I think I see the shadow of Gene Kelly's ghost.
Sweet Dale. It's so Charlie Brown
*snuggles the nicely lit tree*
I like to think Passion of the Dale is the Star of Bethlehem of the Blogosphere.
Thanks Skyler's Dad, it was nice of the moon to hang there just so while I found my camera.
Thanks Jake's Mom, I hope they're all light.
Sorry Jill, I only do English homes and gardens.
Nothing says Christmas like gunfire Melly! The rain is messing up my snow right now.
Glad you liked it Bubs, every little bit helps right?
Honeypot's yard has been cropped out like one of her crop tops X. Dell. The only trespassers so far are the bunnies and a couple of cardinals.
Thanks Bluez. I bet you'll have a bluez Christams won't you?
She hasn't been out wandering as much lately Jacy or maybe she has and that's why I ain't seen her.
Just don't ask me to rake it Tenacious S. I'm done with the raking for this year.
He's such a baby that Baby Jesus isn't he John?
My sister would say 'what cute', Hah.
It changes the perspective doesn't it Chancelucky? You'd never know the little tree is actually 19 feet tall. Okay, it's not.
Surreal like my life at time Larry H.
He'd better not muck it up by dancing around out there WP or singing in the rain for that matter.
Wait until you see what I have planned for the Great Pumpkin next year Gifted Typist.
Hug it with your love Andi.
I like to think of you as one of the Wise Men, Grant Miller.
Damn. I had a lovely visual of you and Honeypot hanging the lights together.
Looks like Charlie Brown's tree (after they fixed it up.)
I forgot that you are a Loyalist!!
But can I have the reason why?
That is really pretty! You are a romantic at heart arent you!
lol ot suze's comment... It woulda been hysterical to have honeypot in the back! hehehehehehehehe
Is that really your yard? That's an awesome photo.
I can never tell if I'm too gullible or not trusting enough.
something Stephen Kingish about that light/darkness biz, and all the snakey dark places in the grass... Like it's luring you in, or somethin...
beautiful pic. merry christmas, potd. love the tree. so festive.
Hanging the lights, is that a euphemism Beth?
I cropped the doghouse I sleep on top of out of the photo CP.
The only reason is to give grief to you Jill.
She's there is spirit Kate, filthy sleazy spirit.
This time Beckeye, you're just right. It is my back yard.
I like your take on the light and the dark Hot Lemon. Stand there right in the middle, you'll be alright, I promise.
Katie, I'm going to make a menorah out of Christmas trees for you.
Great shot, Dale! I love the "Hallowe'en-y" feel of the shadow of the tree stalking the poor little Christmas tree.
Ugh. Feeling stupid now. "ATV tracks" do not equal "shadow of a tree." Duh.
You were right the first time Les, they're tree branches and not ATV tracks. Halloweeny Christmas, it's all one big holiday here!
Nice!
Thanks Wendy B! Glad you like.
