Sorry Man

Do you think Alan Berliner would be insulted that both times I've tried to watch Wide Awake, a documentary film about his insomnia, that I've fallen asleep?

It reminds me of the time...

They do need to put this in the "late night" television rotation.

I believe that Alan Berliner would feel that his job was done here.

(1) At least one of those books was helpful.

(2) If his film affected you that way, I wouldn't worry about Berliner's reaction. Since I actually suffer from insomnia, I need to find that movie.

It always helps me get to sleep by watching the sleeped deprived on TV. M*A*S*H is an excellent specimen.

I don't think Alan Berliner would be insulted. He would just have one more reason not to sleep.

I had the same reaction to "Lost Highway"

Absolutely Chancelucky, it put me out like a light. I may have made it through 10 minutes or so both times.

I think he'd feel I'm uncaring but while he was preparing his monologue on the subject Barbara, I'd drift off.

X. Dell - your multi-part answers are always enjoyable and show your ordered mind. That book did the trick for the girl, you're right. I wonder if I should attempt the film by daylight and see what happens.

I am available Freelance and I'm pretty cheap as you can probably tell.

Poor Jin. At least I helped in some small way.

If I'm not singing, I guess you don't pay attention huh Beth?

I'm not enough to keep him up at night Flannery but clearly, he's not enough for me either. I watched a little Mash the other night and did not fall asleep. Hmmm.

It put you to sleep Bubs? Oh my. How about Mulholland Drive? Did that keep you up at all?

Damn. Can I borrow that? I just wrote another insomnia-fueled blog post, and I'm not happy about it.

Dale, I had the EXACT same problem. Funny.

I tried too and turned it off, it was so boring it put me to sleep.

Borrow, steal, beg, it's all good Bella. Insomnia sucks and perhaps, so does the film.

Mr. Berliner mightn't think it too funny Chris but I'm with you. nyuk nyuk nyuk.

It works like magic for everyone Bluez.

I don't want a check Zed but I will take a cheque! When did everyone switch to check? I hate that. But not you.

I'll have a look for it here first Lee, it sounds interesting, sadly, I know next to nothing about Jack K.

Absolutely not Jen, it's uber stimulating!

Hey Bluez, you said you were putting the kibosh on the blog so ZAP, yer dun!

Funny...there are a few episodes of "The Twilight Zone" that I've never seen, including "Ninety Years Without Slumbering." I've fallen asleep both times I've had the opportunity to watch it. Parallel lives, we lead, you and I.

Dale said...

So are you saying that if we were to meet Beckeye, we'd probably end up sleeping together?

BeckEye said...

Most likely.

Excellent news!
