I've Got Her Pegged

Heather Mills (McCartney) is going to be on Dancing With The Stars proving that the misuse of the word star in this context is being allowed to continue.

Is it too early (or late) to make jokes like 'I wonder if she'll be dancing to Something in the way she moves...?'

Also appearing is Joey Fatone, formerly of NSync. I enjoy mispronouncing his name.

It looks like Larry likes that prosthetic a little TOO much. He looks like Ralphie in "The Christmas Story"!

I can't get enough of the wooden peg leg jokes.

And Fat One, really, it's a gimme.

My brain is telling me her shirt reads "no more land mines," but my eyes *distinctly* see "do more land mines."

Dale said...

I agree Chris, he's totally into it. Or he's looking for spare parts.

I meant his first name Tanya. You're so mean!

Sage advice for Heather Mistress!

sorry to report, she's bowed out.

good riddance!

I saw Joey Fatone on Broadway in Rent. He was actually really good. Don't know if he can dance though.

Why do you hate the disabled Valerie?

I remember hearing he was going to be in it. Who did he play Gizmo?

I know it's ballroom dancing, but I was looking forward to them doing ZZ top's "She's got legs" or even old Beatle's stuff like "Something in the Way She Moves"

I would agree that HMM is a celebrity, but a star? You're totally right about this Dale.

Sadly, though, we won't get to see her dance to "Jump, Jive, and Wail" either.

Dale said...

I'm going to pretend that you were mesmerized by the leg and therefore didn't see the text in the post CL! haha

But I want to see her Flannery! I just found out she was going to do it. I insist that she go through with it.

Dale, I believe the proper nomenclature is "handicapable" not the "D" word.

Also, "Something" was a John Lennon song you insensitive lout.

Oh, and Where will Heather's next job be?

IHOP.

Whoops, I guess I was mesmerized. Sorry for stepping on your joke Dale. so to speak.

How do you mispronounce his name?

You know, I might watch "Dancing with the Idiots" Mills is on. Nothing more amusing to me than the prospect of watching a one-legged dancer. Maybe she'll pick as her music Dave Brubeck's "Unsquare Dance."

Something was a Beatles song-- on Abbey Road. It was written by George Harrison, and was the first Beatles single to not go #1-- it only went to #2. But we know that in 1969 the Beatles still have years of life left....

I can't stand that woman.

Barbara Bruederlin said...

Odd, I thought I had commented here, but whatever.

Anyhoo, what I meant to say was that I think we should initiate a weekly award for the best tag. And I do believe that you should win this week. Take a bow, Mr Dale.

Dale said...

IHOP? Excellent JustaCC.

Fancy side stepping there Chancelucky.

Tanya had it right Grant, I was kidding about the first name. Love, Fat One.

I'd love to see it fly off in the middle of a big routine X. Dell. That's just me. Actually, that's probably most people.

Thank you for the excellent corrective interlude Johnny Yen.

Haha, excellent Chelene. I'm doing hand stands over your stand usage.

I did and hit my head on the monitor Barbara. I need home care.

I have nothing to add on the Heather Mills front, she just annoys me so. But I have to agree with Barb, you win the weekly label award.

Reese said...

She's gone loopey, Dale. I was reading that she's producing a cartoon called The McFartneys. Apparently Paul has a flatulence issue. Lol.

Dale said...

You just added something Allison.

Another reason to hold my breath! Love it Reese.

I think Paul should have married Hayley Mills anyway.

That picture really freaks me out, I think because of the toenail polish

Mob said...

Y'know, I've never watched an episode of Dancing With (What Passes For) The Stars, but this might've gotten me to tune in.

Alas.

Jennifer Wertkin said...

OK, first of all, you WATCH this thing? And, btw, "Something" was written by George Harrison. Tee hee.

Dale said...

Or Stephanie Mills even, CP.

That is strange, so does she have fashion legs I wonder that she can just change to go with her outfit Bre?

I haven't either Mob and I think we can stand tall, like Heather on a good leg day.

Only a minute or two at a time in passing NycB, it's all too horrifying. If you and Johnny Yen say George wrote it, I'm nearly convinced.

aaaah just got it.. Joey Fatone! heehee

bwahahahahahah!!! is it so wrong that i laugh??? do you think i'm going to hell?

and joey fat one was the one i loved. oh god i feel gross just admitting that.

Maybe heather will dance the pogo to some energetic late 70's punk tune.

This is weird--I just saw the ending of "Nick of Time" with Johnny Depp and Christopher Walken. A character in it saves the day by beating a hitwoman with his prosthetic leg.

Dale said...

Come on Lee! You gotta keep up!

Feel the burn Yas! We'll all be there with you.

It's a magical day then Bubs! Weird! Wouldn't it be great if she had a pogo leg?

nouseforaname said...

I am curious to see how the one legged bitch is gonna handle all the fancy dancin.... maybe Sir Paul will have some trick land mines thrown in for our enjoyment...

now Joey Fatone, now that will be a real reason to tune it!!! I hate those back no talent fucker n'syncers... if you name ain't Justin Timberlake, I don't even want to know you still exist

RC said...

i love it...the misuse of the word stars is certainly overplayed.

"Something" was in fact written by George Harrison. Are you convinced yet? It was his first composition to be placed on the A-side of a Beatles single.

Also, it did go to #1 in the U.S., but only #4 in the UK. However, there was a little Lennon ditty called "Come Together" on the flip side that might've enhanced sales figures a wee bit!

Previously, the "Penny Lane"/"Strawberry Fields" single had also missed the top spot on the UK charts. Two other singles ("Lady Madonna" and "Ballad of John & Yoko") failed to top the U.S. charts, the latter making it only to #8. These were all released before "Something." So, Mr. Yen gets an A for effort, though his facts are slightly awry.

Dale said...

First Haahnster, awry is one of my favourite words, you get a point. I haven't heard of this song Something though. What's everyone talking about? :-)

Valerie said...

I certainly don't hate the disabled.

But I don't like her. Not because of her peg leg. I didn't even know she had a peg leg until after the divorce stories came out...
I don't like her cuz she seems like a money-grubber.

"henkybwl" was my word verification! Kyool! Does that mean anything?

Angie Pansey said...

He looks like he's going to club her with her own leg...

Dale said...

I forgot Val, it's old people and babies you hate, oops! :-)If your word verification was MrHenkyBwl, I'd say you'd been dumped on.

As he clubbed her down with glee! A pleasant thought Angela.

Narrator said...

I wonder what the inside of that leg smells like.

I think she takes it off and fucks it. You'd be crazy not to.

Dale said...

Hahaha, I'm with you there, it would be irresistible N.V.
