I Can See Clearly Now

This morning, the fog was thicker than that time at Antonio Bay. Walking through it, I felt that vague sense of unease that anything could happen and I'd probably be ill prepared to deal with it.

It was so thick that as I approached the station, you couldn’t even see the train.
The train wasn’t there yet, but still!

Why does that picture look like the same background as Munch's "The Scream?"

Maybe you'd have been better off looking in a lighthouse for Barboobs instead of the train station...

For days like this, when you can't see the train, that's an automatic sick day my friend.

Listen carefully, this is true. I once stood next to Adrienne Barbeau in line at a concession in the Grandstand of Churchill Downs racetrack. She ordered a hot dog with mustard. I forgot what I was there for.

I remember driving to work this summer and the 401 being ridiculously foggy in the morning then everything would magically disappear and be all sunshine and rainbows...no gold though.

Same day you were dealing with Fog i was dealing with a major blinding sun whilst driving. Swear I couldn't see a thang that very same morning...um it was yesterday morning wasn't it?

A blog about fog deserves a good flogging.

Adrienne Barboobs. Reminds me of that Elvira character they had on the Simspons...what was her name? Boobarella or something?

Isn't that a 10,000 Maniacs song? Oh, wait ... those crazy kids couldn't ignore the train.

I love fog, and I love Adrienne Barbeau.

My eldest scored me an autographed picture of Ms. Barbeau last summer. Sweet.

I find fog very soothing. Maybe not so much when I'm on my way to work, but still...

When the train arrived, was the Elvis conductor aboard?

Patience, Dale. Patience.

Walking off into the void? All you need is a hit of acid, and you'd have a remarkable experience.

I see right through your foggy comment Marloes. Join the crowd.

Because you know what your face will look like by the end of that walk WP.

The Barboobs qualify as their own light source Mob don't they?

I can never seem to call in sick Suzel although I long to.

I listened Margo Moon and now I am in awe of you and your hot diggity dog diggity sighting, that's pretty cool.

There's never any gold is there Allison but there's always Lucky Charms.

The blinding sun is definitely a problem Bluez, our train hit someone whizzing through the train crossing once when he had the sun in his eyes. Poor fella.

I'm ready for my punishment sir. I mean John.

Haha Beckeye, yes, that was her name.

If only they'd called it 10,001 Maniacs and not ignored me Beth! I had to look up the song because I don't think I've heard it before.

The fog is mystical and magical Bubs and I like it too. Adrienne's pretty fascinating herself. Good score on the photo!

It's pretty damned cool isn't it Distributorcap? I just did a search and found it. If you click it, it takes you to the page it was on which I think is for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I'm too tired to look it up again though to be sure.

Actually Barbara, I took the earlier train so the ghost train didn't ride in with Elvis on it. I got to hear someone grunt the names of the few stops and it was well nigh peaceful.

Even instant gratification takes too long Julia!

Care to share X. Dell?

I knew you'd approve Andi.

There is a pterodactyl down there T and I'm glad you're not the only one that saw it. I'd be lost without you.

I love the vague unease Zed. If your avatar had jumped out though, I might have screamed.

Glad you didn't wander out onto the tracks; are you?

One time I was driving to work and the fog got so bad I had to pull over and wait 20 minutes to proceed. Freaky Friday.

Okay Dale, what's up with all this waxing poetic stuff? With many folk, this means you're in love, wanting to be in love, or irritated by really strange neighbors.

I demand to know!

Dale said...

You're so nice Beth, I'll take it!

I'm glad I didn't either CP although it would have quickly erased the work dread wouldn't it?

You must look deep into the fog to see clearly Chancelucky.

Jill said...

Since when do you have become so stressed??

Dale said...

No stress Jill, it's all good! Okay, my neck's a bit sore but nothing I won't survive.

Jill said...

Go get a massage, Dale(neck soreness is kind of a sign of stress)

Dale said...

It's true, I carry my stress in my neck Jill. It comes and goes depending on work pressures but I'm fine. For now.

Jill said...

Two responds to mu comments that seems to be serious and truthfull!!! Are you sure you are ok, Dale??

Dale said...

Now you're stressing me out Jill. Knock it off.

Jill said...

With what do you want to be knock of with:
-baseball bat
or
-Frying pan?

Dale said...

I prefer to be knifed Jill, it would make us so close in those last moments.

Jill said...

Dale, knifing is to messy!!! And there is better way to be close to someone that stabing them!! I don't believe in those kind of violence!!

Dale said...

To each his own Jill.
