Must Be Luff

If I love reading so much, why do I have so many unfinished and never started books piling up around me? Huh? Well? Oh, and I just ordered more.

I'd ask the Amazon whore for some wisdom but looks like that's me.

Books I currently have half my eye in:
Life of Pi
Historical Atlas of New York City
Fondling Your Muse
Gotham: A History of New York City to 1898

I haven't ordered anything recently from Amazon, but I do have my wish list...(I'm not asking you for any books, because you did buy me one, Lucy Talk, and I haven't read it yet because it makes me feel close to you and if I do read it then we're over?)

I'm the exact same way. I just love books and I'm comforted knowing that I have stuff to read.

Ms. Espanya - Once you started fondling your own muse, we were done.

Ms. Chelene - I'm very comforted by them too. The worry is that I'll never get to them all.

I'm a starter and get distracted by another book type, that I am.

This happens to me too. I generally go back at some point and finish off what I started so I don't feel too bad.

Me, too! I have mountain of untouched or half-finished books in my house.

Every so often I look at my bookshelf and get ashamed with myself for the things I haven't even started. I think maybe I should read that one next and then remember that I'm already trying to read three at a time and getting nowhere. It's a neverending battle.

It's a battle for sure but also great that they're there when we get up offa our asses and go for them.

I'm not reading three different books right now. It's been a slow year so far. Only 7 books done. I'm still coming out of a painful slump that started last November, right after The Kite Runner pimpslapped my heart and soul.

I'm building a shelter out of Amazon boxes and unread books, one of which is The Kite Runner. I like being pimpslapped so I'll get that one on the go for sure.

OK, I realize this party ended long ago and everyone has gone home, changed clothes, brushed their teeth and headed off to a NEW party, but I wanted to say that I actually had a comment on this thread all along, and I finally posted it here on my blog.

Holly, I like to rock and roll all night and party every day. Feel free to make noise anywhere you please.
